Approach to Facilitation
Patrick developed the Safe Home Base Program in order to assist parents to both create community and to gain practical evidence-based techniques to show up as the parents they'd like to be while dealing with the stress of everyday life. Therefore, session time tends to be evenly split between knowledge acquisition and discussion among the group. It is meant to be a fun, affirming, challenging and enlightening experience.
Approach to Coaching
Building on the Global Family Hub's connection-focused approach, Patrick helps clients get clarity about what they really want to achieve and how they would like to achieve it. Along the way, Patrick introduces evidence-based practices and techniques to assist them in their journey.
About
With nearly 30 years as an expat across 16 countries—about half of that time raising his two children alongside his wife—Patrick knows firsthand what it takes for global families to do more than survive: they can truly thrive.

After building a career in disaster relief and economic development (and earning his MBA), Patrick made a deliberate shift. He dedicated his coaching practice to what mattered most: helping globally mobile families build strong connections despite constant change.
Patrick combines evidence-based approaches from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and child development coaching with real-world understanding of what families face when home shifts.
