Approach to Facilitation

Patrick developed the Safe Home Base Program in order to assist parents to both create community and to gain practical evidence-based techniques to show up as the parents they'd like to be while dealing with the stress of everyday life.   Therefore, session time tends to be evenly split between knowledge acquisition and discussion among the group.  It is meant to be a fun, affirming, challenging and enlightening experience.

Building on the Global Family Hub's connection-focused approach, Patrick helps clients get clarity about what they really want to achieve and how they would like to achieve it.  Along the way, Patrick introduces evidence-based practices and techniques to assist them in their journey.

Veronica Auguste is a mentor and community builder specializing in supporting women and parents navigating the emotional and practical realities of life abroad.

As founder of Belonging Abroad Mentoring and a collaborator with Global Family Hub, she helps internationals build resilience, connection, and a genuine sense of belonging through times of transition.

She offers one-on-one mentoring, workshops, talks, and intercultural training for individuals, schools, and international organizations and corporations, with a particular focus on supporting families through relocation, cultural adaptation, and identity shifts that often accompany international life.

Fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Italian, and drawing from her own global experience, Veronica provides thoughtful, personalized guidance that helps clients not only adapt to life abroad but truly feel at home wherever they are.
